I have always had many creative hobbies and once I took early retirement in late 2002 I began to paint. I am fascinated with colour and that has led me in my creative journey starting with landscape miniatures. Australian artist Robert Hagan and his live streams on the internet led me to larger paintings, adding people and animals to the landscapes and moving on to oil paints. I am currently obsessed with alcohol inks with their intense colours and abstract flows so similar to silk dyes.
