As of Jan. 2021, unfortunately the need for isolation continues, but vaccinations are ahead and we hope to start back up in the fall.
In September, the Club is planning a Reunion BBQ / Membership Mingle at one of the picnic shelters. More details will available in the next couple of months. We look forward to seeing all our members again!
Also planned are a series of outdoor painting opportunities in the spring and summer. Those too will be announced as the weather warms up. Locations will be a blend of city/ county sites and foothills/mountain sites.
One of the city sites we go to to paint and sketch is The Nikka Yuko Garden. It’s a wonderful place to unwind, and focus on our drawing practice. Throughout the spring and summer a small group of us will meet there. . Watch this site for notice of when we plan to return to the Garden. It opens later this spring. We recommend plein air painters purchase season passes if they plan to paint there..it is much more economical. https://www.nikkayuko.com/
