This fall the LAC is not scheduling any events which bring groups together indoors. So, sadly, there will be no classes or critiques or socials this fall.
We really miss seeing you all!
Painters’ Day Trips! There is however a series of events planned this fall for anyone who wants to paint outdoors. Please check out the 2020 LAC Artists Retreat on this site for details on the planned day trips to various locations in Lethbridge and S. Alberta to paint, picnic, and critique work – all at a distance and outdoors. Everyone welcome and there’s no charge!
At this time we are waiting to hear from Casa about “Christmas at Casa”. We advise members to continue to prepare for the Christmas sale. Remember the public is looking for smaller, less expensive items and that is where the sales always are. When we know more from Casa we will update you.
PLEIN AIR OPPORTUNITY – The Nikka Yuko Garden is open till mid October! To improve and maintain our drawing practice, we sometimes meet there on a designated morning. Our Japanese garden offers beautiful balanced scenes. It is quiet and peaceful. It’s outside and easy to social distance. If interested, email me to say you’ll join us….email@example.com
https://www.nikkayuko.com/ Visit their site for info on times and admission prices. (Many of us buy one of the season passes which are a far better deal than paying the $9 single admission each time. The pass is good for a year from when you purchase.
