Artist Bio:
Diane Denison – My art journey began in 2014 when I fell in love with art and wanted to explore it more. I started lessons shortly after with Neighborhood Art Studios, in Langley, BC. I had the privilege to learn from Candice Perry Moen and Robert Barrett. I also, took lessons with Carol Portree in Abbotsford, BC, and with Janice Enfield in Grande Prairie, AB. I paint in oils and acrylics and mostly paint nature scenes. I have been with the Grande Prairie Guild of Artists, and the Richmond Hill Group of Artists.
I have shown many pieces in art shows in Alberta and Ontario, and have sold several pieces including commissioned pieces. You can also find my art on display at Lakeview Senior Lodge, in Clairmont, AB.
Artist Statement:
Creating a piece is inspiring, and I loved to see the piece as it progresses. One of my teachers said, art must always be fun! I love to experiment with color and layout. Most of my paintings are inspired from photos taken on my road trips or in the neighborhood. I have done several commissioned pieces. Do you have a wall that feels empty, or needs some new life? I can design a piece to make your wall beautiful. Contact: 778-347-1471 / dianede@live.com.
