Helen was born and raised on a farm in Manitoba. After graduating from Teacher’s college in Winnipeg, she taught school in Manitoba and Alberta. Helen has taken an art instruction course by correspondence and several workshops at the Bowman Arts Centre. She’s acquired a lot of skills from the many books she has read. Helen remains an active member of the Lethbridge ArtistS Club.
