A Lethbridge girl at heart, living and working for the City of Lethbridge in the field of aquatics, later as an administrative assistant, and after at Nord-Bridge Senior Centre. Family commitments and work have kept me busy; then came retirement.
Painting is something I have always been interested in from an early age, and since retiring from full time work, I immediately registered in a painting class and have been taking lessons over the past 12 years from various instructors.
I began painting one-stroke watercolor flowers and greeting cards using just a quarter inch flat brush. I was hooked, painting all descriptions of flowers with that one magic brush. More recently I decided to try acrylics enjoying both mediums and the challenge of experimenting with new techniques.
Over the past fifteen years I have been a member of the Lethbridge Artists Club and have served in various positions on that Board.
